"This is the place Salazar built after he was chased out of Hogwarts by that Muggle-loving fool Godric Gryffindor. This place really <i>was</i> called Slytherin's Castle! Midnight Manor is just it's new adopted name..."
You follow her through the secret place. The walls are giant bookcases, stocked high with manuscripts, scrolls and thick books. Many look self-written.
In one corner you can see a huge cauldron surrounded by jars of potions, powders and vials of liquid. Many crystal jars hold dark red coloured blood. Knives crafted for the Dark Arts hang on special hooks. Bits of feather and fur lie carelessly on the ground.
"This was where Salazar wrote, created and tested some of the greatest dark Magic of all time." She touches the cauldron almost lovingly and then moves on.
She opens the door to a large cage. A slithering noise reaches your ears. You can hear the hissing and spitting of the snake and Erinye. You suddenly see two emerald glints in the semi-darkness. You see a cobra-like snake. One that is so...familiar.
"This is Nagini." Erinye says, calmly.
"But Nagini is the snake of the Dark Lord!" You burst out involuntarily.
"Yes, how astute of you!" Erinye smiles cruelly. "This is where the Dark Lord comes when Dumbledore sniffs too close...it is guarded so well...no Wizard of Light could ever come here."
You shiver and take a step back. You cannot grasp it. Erinye sees your confusion.
"I am in the Innermost circle of the Lord." She says, displaying the Dark Mark on her wrist. Unlike the others you have seen, Erinye's seems to glow and shimmer.
She pets the snake. "Go on, get some exercise. The Dark Lord will not be pleased to have a sick snake when he returns. He is off on an important mission. Breathe a word and die." She says quickly to you.
Threats seem to come easily to her lips.
In the centre of the room stands a large cloth hat...which resembles the Sorting Hat of Hogwarts School so closely....
"I see you like Slytherin's Hat...it is like the Sorting hat of Hogwarts, but instead it sorts you into one of the ancient houses of evil. She hands you a scroll.
You read it quickly and eagerly.
The Four Houses of Darkness
Slytherin
Slytherin is the house of the Lord Salazar Slytherin, who used to be one of the Hogwarts Four. Out of his house comes Mages and powerful Evil Wizards. The Dark Lord Grindelwald was part of this house.
Apart from the usual aspects of sly and cunning that all the Dark Houses have, this house has an essence of power. Those of ambition belong here.

Wrathstorme
Wrathstorme is the house of Queen Sericra Wrathstorme, of the ancient time. Her kingdom was the greatest of all and she ruled supreme over Darkness. Wrathstorme is the most cunning and deceitful of all the houses as the Queen used treachery to gain most of her power.
This house also has aspects of tyranny in it as Sericra Wrathstorme was unmerciaful to her subjects. Those of cruelty belong here.

Daemersgrale
Daemersgrale is the house of WarLord Wulfren Daemersgrale. Wulfren Daemersgrale was a great Dark conqueror who amassed great armies and defeated all who stood in his way.
Daemersgrale is the most warlike of all the houses and uses brute force over cunning and logic. All those who enjoy war belong here.

Mortragen
Mortragen is the house of Malicia Mortragen, one of the greatest Necromancers ever to walk the earth. She controlled all life beyond the grave and became powerful with the use of zombies and ghosts.
Mortragen was also a Seer and saw many events in the distant future. She was very secretive and closed off. All those who have otherwordly instincts belong here.

You breathe a great sigh and wonder where you would go...Slytherin, Mortragen...Wrathstorme, Daemersgrale...<br>
Your hands tremble with the urge to seize the hat and try it on.
"If you touch that hat I warn you..." Erinye says. You shudder again.
"I think you have seen enough. Leave before I decide that you remain here forever!"
She shrieks loudly. You gather up your wits and scramble away, avoiding the Dementors.
